Linux Based Caller ID Solution for the UK

Hi guys, looking for a recommendation for a caller id solution for=20
the UK. Ive read around a bit and it seems that getty under linux=20
can do this with some modems it just doesnt seem clear which. I=20
guess what Id really like is a dedicated device that will log the=20
phone numbers to a flat file that I can script around my own web=20
interface etc or that triggers an event that I can catch somehow,=20
like on incomming calling run X executable and pass phone number of=20
the command line to it. So please any suggestions and shameless=20
plugs to products others are using would be truly helpful.

If it helps my current ha system is all X10 based=20
switches /sockets/sensors with heyu2/xtend/bluelava running from a=20
redhat linux machine.=20=20

Also does anyone know of any forums for fix your hardware, I=20
recently picked up and 15" tft screen for =A320 because after a few=20
seconds it would cut out, after a little tinkering inside found it=20
was the connection to the neon tubes and it dawned on me that there=20
must be a forum for tips for DIY repairs?

Cheers
David
