Yeah, I've got an ATI Radeon 8500DV that I was using for capturing, but
it has a dvi out (with 15 pin vga convertor) and an interface box, which
has firewire in, composite, stereo and s-vid in, and composite, stereo
and s-vid out.

The default behaviour (IIRC, I might've had to tweak it to get it to do
this!) when playing anything in eg WMP was for the TV output to be full
screen - you could then minimize the media player and browse or whatever
while it was playing.
