Re: LD11 + low voltage halogen

Jeff,

I have LD11's running some cheap B+Q electronic lv transformers. They have
been in for 18 months now without a problem, not even a blown bulb.

In my ignorance I've been merrily design a new lighting system for my new
rooms. Basically 2 or 3 LD11 running 30 or so 12v 20 w light fittings
using
about 6 transformers.

After searching the archive I can see that there are problems using
electronic transformers with LD11.

I had my eye on these ( or something similar )

Has anyone got ld11 + electronic DIMABLE transformers working without any
issues ?

Letsautomate even have this http://www.letsautomate.com/lvlights.htm
on
there site which doesn't sound v good.

Jeff
