Ahh, ok. I'd forgotten that bit :-(

As an alternative, Alan Singleton posted about the Crouzet PLC - search the
archives for the thread titled "Lighting control system using Crozet
microcontroller" (original post was made on 28-Feb). That may be a
cheap-ish alternative. Crouzet PLC is available from CPC.
