Are you saying that you can ditch the riser card and then remove the metal
real box?

I'm very impressed by the quality of the screen and the robustness of the
case, but like a
few others have said it is very deep....

Its also extremely noisy!

My plan is to lose the hardrive (boot from network), swap the processor fan
for a larger
heatsink and to go for a silent external powersupply.

As I don't need any of the expansion slots, this means I can mount just the
screen with
motherboard nicely in a cavity wall... or so I hope :o)
