Hi. I found this thread interesting as I was thinking of doing this in
the bathroom and kitchen. I wasn't sure about water ingress or wooden
floors either.

How long do they take to get to temperature once switched on? I seem
to remember something about them here before, where someone said you
left them on permanently because they are so slow to  heat up and cool
down.
