OT (ish) Webcam question...

Anyone here got one of the new Logitech Quickcam sphere's - this is the one
with e mechanical pan & tilt mechanism?

I'm thinking of getting one of these, but was wondering if the Pan/tilt
mechanism could be accessed remotely? - I believe it comes with bundled
face-tracking software which pans & tilts the camera to keep you in the
frame, but I'd quite like to be able to manually control it as well via a
web interface, then it would make a pretty cool house monitoring camera
when
I'm away from home...
