www.blankdiscshop.co.uk will sell you a sample pack of different
DVDs/CDs so you can see which ones work...

I used datawrite "red" ones in my panny E100 with >99% success
rate so
far. My powerbook doesn't like them though. Oddly enough, I have some
nanya ones which the panny hates, but the powerbook loves.

You need to tell your burning software that you want to burn an image,
not a data disc [of files]...
