Be cautious too if you are using LAME to do audio transcoding - (for
example
as the SlimServer doe The Via Epia boards I tried a while back (800Mhz)
were
not up to the job hitting 100% cpu and giving audio glitches. This was the
Windoze SlimServer though.  The newer motherboards are faster though (1Ghz
1.2Ghz )so I would love to hear of anyones experience playing a reasonable
bitrate WMA stream/file onto a Slim player.
