BT's spec (to stop people fiddling), there was a page on the net somewhere
on how to reflash them with EN's firmware and allow full functionality...

Subject: [ukha_d] Efficient Networks 5861

Hi all,

Following on from my post yesterday about the Vigor, I remembered I have
an
Efficient Networks 5861 that was installed by BT in my old house by BT /
Easynet.

Does anyone know how I reset the Router to it's original state so that I
can
change the IP address etc when my new house is enabled.

I followed the instructions on the website but that gets me to a screen to
log on my ADSL account, not one to configure the router as suggested in
the
instructions

Cheers

Paul
