Re: OT : Ceramic Floor Tiling
When Rob says a decent mask, he doesnt mean a crappy paper one from the DIY
store. You will need a rubber face mask that takes cartridge filters. Make
sure you buy a cartridge suitable for cellulose thinners (there are lots of
kinds of cartridges).

NO I doubt white spirit would do it. I'm talking Cellulose Thinners. You
can
buy various grades such as 'standard', 'anti-bloom', 'premium'. You want
good old 'standard'. Don't let them try and sell you 'gun wash' that is a
VERY low grade solvent that contains too much contaminate and it smells
like
cats pee!
Tetrosyl make standard thinners in 5LTR and 25LTR quantities. (Red tin.)
which you should be able to buy from any trade motor factors or they often
have their own label brand. Aim to pay around £10+Vat for 25ltrs as that's
an 'average' trade price. However, if you're a 'punter' you might get stung
for more :-)
If you're near Devon then I can get you some (Our cost is around £8 from
memory.) Its too heavy to ship. Also might be an idea to buy a bale of
rags,
they always come in handy! Again should need to pay no more than £10+VAT
for
low grade coloured cotton rags in 10kg quantities.
DISCLAIMER: Don't forget the ventilation and decent mask, this is evil
stuff! Also it is very flammable!!!
