Actually he has Analog cable TV so the EPG is not necessary - just a button
press or timer to record the incoming signal just like a video.

Hi,



A friend wants to replace his VHS video recorder with a hard disk based
alternative.



His RQs:



*      Cheap - i.e. upto 200 quid mark
*      VHS or better quality
*      Doesn't need to have DVD-writer in it
*      Ideally has integrated EPG, but not necessary
*      As easy to use as a video



Grateful for all recommendations.
