After a bit of googling, I have confirmed that it was a BT Converse 200,
sadly no longer made but it looks like it was replaced by the Converse 225.
More information on the 200 here: http://www.cqout.com/c_item.asp?id=707125
and theres a guy who has some for sale here:

Subject: [ukha_d] LOUD speakerphone for hearing-impaired MIL
Hi all,
My mother-in-law is now in her 70s, and her hearing is definitely fading.
She wears a hearing aid, but still has tremendous problems hearing what
people say on the phone.
What she would like is a speaker-phone that is LOUD, so that she can sit
next to the phone and converse.
Can anyone recommend me such a thing? The normal speakerphone built into
our
phone at home isn't anything like good enough.
Regards,
Mark
