Hi Paul

(Disclaimer: I am NO Expert!)
I have two machines using that very board in my rack, they were recommended
to me by a PC guru I know, both have 1gb of Crucial RAM I was recommended
t=
o
buy the memory with the 2.5 CAS latency which 'apparently' is better suited
to this board???? (I would have NO clue!).
All I do know is that these machines go like stink and are flippin stable!
I also cool both machines in Sonata cases with Zalman coolers for the
northbridge chip and the CPU and they are bloody quiet in fact my Tivo
make=
s
more noise!
I'm averaging 37c as a temp and that=92s in a desktop case crammed in a
VER=
Y
full rack, although the temp does hit 49c if I'm encoding etc. But, I guess
I give them less hell than you will with all your video editing stuff.
HTH
Rob
