I know its 'really' sad but I use ours quite a bit. Especially for parties,
they are nothing if not a conversation starter! SWMBO swears the room gets
warmer when the fire one is on, LOL!
They are not the last word in production genius though, they definitely
should be filed under 'CHEESEY'.

P.S. Over to Paul for a HA quality version in time for Christmas? Will you
be controlling the fire by x-10 or C-bus????? ;-)
