If you're using MSSQL you need to use ' rather than " for the string
as
someone else posted. :-)

That would probably be because the SQL 92 & 99 [and more than likely
2003] standard requires ' and not ". Slacker DBMS may accept "
but that
actually performs a different role.

Sybex produce an excellent SQL Instant Reference, if you're SQL and not
yet reach deity status, buy it!
