I'd suggest taking a look at NetRemote - it's a lot less expensive.
$29.95 (for use on two client devices) and will have built in IR on
a suitably equipped Pocket PC (release is sometime next week).
Admittedly it does use Girder too, but that isn't as bad as it appears
at first.

The main advantage with MainLobby etc is that all the graphics are
supplied.
