xlobby: .net framework

  • Subject: xlobby: .net framework

Finaly got round to putting W98 on my Fuji.

Now trying to put on .net framework so that I can put xlobby client on it
and use it to remotely control a music zone that I have set up in the
conservatory - well thats the plan.

But do you think I can get it to load :-(

I go into windows download, it downloads, seems to install OK and then
comes
up with the following:

'No updates were installed
The following items failed to install. To try installing them again, click
Review and install updates, and then click Install Now again.

Microsoft .NET Framework'

Viewing the instalation history is just as helpful. It gives a status of
'failed'.

FFS I know that!! Don't you just love M'soft :-(

Anyone any clues??

John
