Ok,

I realise that just because I've been off the list for 6 months, I can't
start going asking questions about hardware and software that have already
been discussed.

The first problem, is I don't really like the arhive of this list, and its
hard to view threads etc.. hence the reason for the new email here

In an effort to bring new information that may have passed the group I
found this great reviews on a NEW yes NEW media player.
I did search the arhive for actiontec, but only found references to a VOIP
product they sell.

Top features that will make you look at the review

DVI out !
Infact every OUT you can think of.. or at least I can think of ! analog
digital the lot

Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player 9/10 !!!

I WANT ONE.. I think ? Can't find a UK supplier so we might have to look at
bulk buys ..

sorry for not doing TINYURLS

So what I am looking for is a website (I am sure there are lots) dedicated
to media centre options.

So far I know of

Snapstream
Pinnacles ShowCenter
Microsft XP media centre
XBOX media centre
Hauppage MVP
Philips Streamium
Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player

Key feautures I am interested in

1) Has the unit been hacked ? Is there a community commited to making it
better !
2) Goes without saying PRICE
2) Widescreen, 5.1, digital out etc all required
3) Need to be able to play pretty much ANY media going
4) Ideally help act as PVR ... quite like the idea of pinacles
