Thinking of getting one of these at the moment.

Ever seen any short firewire cables anywhere suitable for looping between
the four firewire boards rather than having a couple of metres of cable
between each?

Alternatively I wonder whether it would be best just to have four separate
firewire channels on the PC and wire each of the four firewire boards in
parallel?
