quite probably, obviously the better the unobstructed view of the sky you
can get the better the signal
I have heard of several people using BT GPS receivers inside glove boxes in
cars
I've used mine under the parcel shelf and in a top pocket of a jacket
successfully

Subject: [ukha_d] TomTom GPS and an Ipaq question

Hi All,

I like many am interested in getting an Ipaq (or similar, feel free
to recommend!) and TomTom 3. The only problem is that I don't drive a
car but ride a scooter!

The question is will the GPS receiver work if it's tucked away either
inside my helmet bay or my jacket? I assume I would want a bluetooth
GPS receiver, and particular makes which are better than others?

TIA
Darren
