RE: Speaker Wiring
You are safe to parallel wire them.
When you series wire them you add up the impedances - two 8ohm speakers in
series would give you 16ohms.
When you parallel them then the maths takes over... :o)
where Rtotal = 1/(1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 ... )

Subject: [ukha_d] Speaker Wiring
Don't know why but this subject always fuddles my brain!
Want to connect two pairs of speakers to one amplifier.
Speakers are rated at 8ohm and the amplifier is rated as 4ohm safe.
So can I wire in series or parallel?
Am I right in thinking that series wired would leave 8ohms at the amplifier
and if in parallel 4ohms?
Cheers
Rob
