TelGen Limited is pleased to announce the release of TelCanto. This music
control application enables you to browse and control your music from the
comfort of your armchair!
TelCanto combines the convenience and portability of the Pocket PC with the
power of Microsoft .NET to enable you to view your digital music collection
from anywhere in your home, and play it on a variety of different hardware
and software players. You can browse by artist, album, genre or composer,
view album cover art, create lists of tracks to play using TelCanto's
unique
PlayQueue facility, start, stop and pause playback and control the volume.
TelCanto consists of a Pocket PC client program and a Windows PC server
program, which communicate via a wireless LAN connection. TelCanto supports
Windows Media Player, Winamp, Slim Devices SlimServer and Barix Exstreamer.
The server can either create its own music database or can use existing
databases from Windows Media Player or Apple's iTunes...
