I'm just starting to put ceiling speakers into all my rooms mainly for
voice announcements and zoned background music (via PC Jukebox or internet
radio).

I have fitted a single waterproof speaker in the utility (100W 8ohm) but am
now considering if other rooms should have 2 speakers to provide stereo
sound.

Does anyone have any advice on where they have placed their ceiling
speakers.. I'm guessing mono should be near the centre of the room but what
about stereo ? I'm thinking that I may actually place the two speakers in
diagonally opposite corners of the rooms. I figure that at least this way I
will get a stereo effect regardless of where I eventually place the
furniture.

Marcus
