I contacted my credit card company (Goldfish) and they said that they do
have a dept to deal with complaints like this. It sounds more like they
will try and persuade the company to sort things out rather than simply
reimburse me...
I will definitely be contacting them if I can't get a satisfactory
result by dealing direct with the kitchen suppliers.
At the moment I would just be happier if I knew where I stood legally.
Since they are offering to partially replace defective units, does this
mean I forfeit the right (if I had any) to a full replacement or refund
?

If you paid by credit card they will refund you the money as the goods
were damaged on delivery Some cards also give you 30days cover after
delivery Mine does - Barclaycard Marcus
