Okay, okay,

If you have the laptop in front of you in the normal operating way, on the
top of the keyboard and below the screen there is a speaker(?) panel with
the power switch on it.

On the left hand side of the PC is a small screw holding this panel in
place. Remove this screw and slide the speaker cover to the right just a
short way and carefully rotate it towards the screen, there is an
electrical connector attached to it.

This will allow the rear of the keyboard to lift up and un-hook at the
front.

You will see the HDD held in a "caddy", remove this, unplug the
HDD connector and lift out. Then remove the 4 screws holding the HDD in the
caddy.

Jobs a good-un.....

What is the going rate for consultancy these days then?
