Sorry for causing panic! :)

I'm pretty sure the 2.5.5 upgrade comes out with the first call home
after guided setup, and then schedules a 2 or 3 am reboot.

Get him to look in system information to find out current software
version, and to see if it has a status of "reboot pending". If it
says
reboot pending, reboot it, if it says 1.x and not reboot pending, force
a daily call.
