Following on from all of the other questions I have been asking on this
topic, I have been thinking about how I would divide the house into Zones,
The system I have in mind has 6zones with 4 sub zones. The property in
question is a modern 1990's detached house, set over two floors.

I am interested to hear peoples views on noise transfer between rooms and
also what they might consider with hindsight when planning the layout of
zones.

I have tried to lump together adjoining rooms as much as possible, my plan
thus far is

Zone 1 Lounge
Sub Zone Dinning Room / Conservatory

Zone 2 Kitchen and Breakfast room (archway between)
Sub Zone Garden

Zone 3 Bedroom 1
Sub Zone Ensuite/ Dressing room

Zone 4 Bedroom 2
Sub Zone Ensuite

Zone 5 Bathroom

Zone 6 Study

In the case of the dininng room/conservatory; kitchen/breakfast and
ensuite/dressing room pairings I will need to drive two sets of speakers,
how can I do this easily without having anything visible, Sub zone keypads
have line level as well as amplified outputs??

Have I missed anything obvious

Paul
