Re: Whole House AV



There are a lot of media streaming devices coming onto the market this
year.
By the time you get that house, you'll be able to buy boxes that stream
audio and video from your PC for <£100 (in fact, there are a couple
available already).  Wireless is an option, but if you want more bandwidth,
expect to run Cat5 to your rooms too.

I'd plan to have one streamer plus TV and/or amp (a regular mini system
would do for most rooms) in each room that you want to equip.
