There is a difference between modems that support UK CID, and modems that
support UK CID and work with HS!  The HS discussion boards are full of
threads about finding a CID modem that works with HS, and other that some
old Pace modems (which I believe are no longer reliable with HSP2), I've
not
heard of any modems working reliably :-(

Any chance of a bit more info... I have a UK USR modem that I tried with
HSP and gave up after the months free trial and an extension that I was
given by Homeseer...

All the UK USR modems I've tried (including old ISA one's) do BT CID.
You
have to edit the inf file though as it's incorrect (including the latest
inf
versions).

The one's I've tried have all been voice modems BTW.
