I can vouch that Justins plugin works a treat. I use it myself with my
touch screen based software running under Win98 and I can use it to
trigger X10 commands and events galore.

You can even get status feedback after a small request from myself to
Justin.

It uses UDP broadcasts so is very easy to use with any TCP/IP software
programming. I am busy working on a similar interface using the Rabbit
boards.
