I've had several requests to remove email addresses from the
archive. Those with long memories (Oct 2001) will recall that we
password protected the archive as a trivial countermeasure to
spammers spiders.
Well, the Good News is that the archive is now email address free,
and the threading all still works!
Unless anyone has good objections otherwise, I propose to remove the
password protection, which will then allow google et al to spider
the entire site, making it a much more useful world resource.
