RE: control of plasma screen over rs232

What did the serial protocol look like? Was it easy to implement? Was
there any error checking? Also is it possible to read back the status?



All I really want to do is switch it on/off and select the source. I
guess there isn't a standard for this stuff, each manufacturer probably
implements their own protocol. I'm currently scanning the web for any
info on pioneer plasmas.

I've done this with my Panasonic 50" series 4 display - works well :)
