Yes, use the tape loop to run a phono cable to another (second) amplifier
to power the speakers for the kitchen/dining room. To turn off the
speakers in the main room simply turn the volume down. The audio should
still feed to the second amp.

Hi,
My amp is very simple with 5 channels, no speaker switching and a
pre-amp out. Whilst I could use a simple speaker switch for the main
speakers to provide sound to a different room, would I need a switch
for the surround and centre speakers to turn them on or off?

Thanks,
Mark
