All I did is get an old 16 port patch panel and wired both sets of 8 in

Subject: [ukha_d] Telephone Wiring

Hi All!

Just been looking at running my phone line over Cat5 cable. I
understnad that any point required as a telephone point has a dongle
fitted on the end. The cable then runs back to the patch panel.
One of the cable runs must have a master dongle on it as all the
others are secondary. The part I am finding puzzling is how do I
connect say 6 or 8 runs of secondary ports into the 1 RJ-45 master
port on the patch panel. The idea is supposed to be that the wiring
is flexible so i can add or remove a point later.

Cheers,

Matt
