CBus doesnt work like that as it runs over its own dedicated CAT5 so it
wouldnt be a problem - cant comment on X10 though

Subject: [ukha_d] X10 / C-Bus for new build development

I've done a search for this but haven't been able to turn anything
up. I've been lurking here for a few months now whilst I complete
flood wiring my house with Cat5-e, co-ax, some X10 while I work out
if does what I want well enough and some Lutron higher end lighting
stuff - going well so far, Node0 coming together wll.....but my
question is about a bigger development.

If I put X10 or C-Bus into multiple apartments in a new build
development, how can I restrict rf signals to only operate those
addresses I want them to. Got a nightmarish vision of issuing an all-
off command and turning out everything across 6 flats. If it isn't
possible to restirct signals, what are my options?

thanks
