Its possible but probably not, the 54M is the data rate including overheads
the actual throughput is around 22M if you don't use
encryption, with encryption you're probably looking at around 18M per
access
point. Also this is a shared media so divide this by the number of users on
the access point and you'll probably find that streaming is a bit rough,

And 54g is quick enough for me to be able to stream DVD off the DVD server
I'll have there ... so movies on demand in my room on the lappy with no
pay-per-view fees! :-D
