Errr, in all honesty no ;-)
Apart from the joy I get from building my own boards and debugging my C
code (any sarcasm noticed?) I honestly don't have the expertise to play
with stuff at this level. I really do have to read the pdf files many times
(usually) before diving in and breaking stuff.
The idea is good although I am not too impressed with X10 RF and I know
this is a good example of how to do it badly.
Thanks
Ian

Would now be a good time to suggest an embedded bluetooth microcontroller,
such as the BlueCore from CSR (www.csr.com) you can swipe the boards out
of most cheap bluetooth dongles (=A330) if you can work out how to program
them ;)
they typically have 8 or 16 IO lines and 1 or 2 A2Dc... the whole thing is
a sinch to write, and they run DCHP wonderfully...
Anyhow, thats what i'd suggest...I'm knocking up a Bluetooth PIR at the
moment actually, what fun
Ali
(oh, and i recomened this not just because CSR gave me a bundle of free
kit, I really do think this is a cool way of doing home control.. if you
have a massive house you may need to build repeaters though, but WLAN is
so high powered.. these little modules run hapilly on a 9v battery)
