Re: Kaleidescape movie server

Phil,

What are you using as a player? I am looking at going down the route of
networked media content, with all of the CD's and DVD's stored on a central
server, but I am not sure on what to use at the player end of things.

I've looked at (in the online sense) the SLIMP3 and the KISS500 and the SMC
EZ-Stream and the Pinnacle but not having seen any of them in action, and
with such varied reports on different forums it looks like a bit of a
minefield.

I would be interested to hear what you are using succesfully, or anybody
else for that matter.

Andy

I was going to bring a "subset" of my server (probably the
"James Bond
Drive" and a couple of others) and a couple of players to UKHA2004 ...

... wasn't going to ask you to bring yours over Graham since it died there
last year! ;-)
