Hi Phil

Me thinks the preferred option is the Maplin unit at =A312.50, seeing as
they in stock at least. I can't seem to get onto the Maplin site ATM but
I think it's preamp output something like 450mV RMS.

What connections does a turntable normally have? Twin phono?

Steve

Well the specs for the BT26 sound a bit strange to me ... it says that
it
requires an amp *WITHOUT* a phono input (i.e. can be used to boost the
level
of a moving coil cartridge to that of a moving magnet cartridge) and
then
says a few lines later that it requires an amp *WITH* a phono input!
Also
the output on it is rated to be 150mV RMS (200mV on the 926) whereas I'm
sure line level should be 1V RMS (I could be wrong but I'm sure line
level
should be 1V RMS).

Phil
