confusion" - because there are two separate manuals, - for motor &
control
unit..

I figured it out once I re-read both of them a bit more attentively, and
all
seems to be working OK now...

The mains lead and plug is for the X-10 controller and the wall wart is
for the motor unit. We make them separate units for safety reasons.

The wall wart is required.
