RE: Screen saver saver

I've been using the Marine Aquarium on the plasma for some time and it
certainly does look excellent. The only flaw is that the new version
dsn't come in widescreen which is a shame, it means the fish are all a
little stretched. I also have the 'Time' version which looks pretty
cool.

For those concerned about screen burn, there is no chance of that as the
'lights' fade on and off fairly regularly to represent day and night.

I would also question the amount of system resources it uses, I run Seti
24 x 7 on all my machines and have not noticed any significant
processing hit with the aquarium running, may be 5% but not more, though
I do have a reasonable graphics card in there.

Finally, the author of the aquarium doesn't actually intend for it to be
used as a 'screen saver', when you use it in that mode it may well be
more resource intensive. Whenever I want it on, usually as a background
when guests come round and I have music on, I run it as an application.
