RE: [OT] using copied CDs in a car multichanger

Certainly had similar experience with a Sony multichanger. I *think* age
may
play a part, older changers have a less powerful laser. Or sumin like that.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] using copied CDs in a car multichanger

I've had quite a few CD trashed because they've found their way into the
car
(by people/animals/sticky fingers etc) so I've hatched a plan to only
install COPIED cds in the multichanger. Only problem is they don't seem to
work. Very odd. I can copy a music cd with nero or adaptec easycd and it
will work fine in my cd player but not in the car. Car is an merc E class
estate with a factory fitted multichanger. Got a feeling the changer is by
Blaukput. Anyone had experience of this ? Jeff
