Cat5 - pcb connectors
I've searched in vain for a supplier of punchdown terminal blocks to
connect
cat5 to some custom pcbs.
What I am after is the twin-row type often used on wall outlets - the cable
goes
up the centre, with two pairs punched down each side. 3.8mm pitch NOT 5mm.
Indeed I have a sample removed from a TLC cat5 wall outlet, sitting here in
front of me.
But who makes them? All the usual suspects have failed (RS, Farnell, Rapid
etc),
as has extensive googling. Rapid part no 24-0810 is like one side of it,
but is
5mm pitch.
I have searched the websites of the likes of Molex etc without success.
Anyone got a supplier of these, or can suggest how to find one?
