The BBC now make getting an RSS feed of virtually any page on their News
site ridiculously easy.

Previously the RSS (XML) url was there for most pages - just buried in the
source, now they've got a helpful link at the bottom of each page to give
you the RSS URL. So adding BBC news on virtually any specialised topic to
your news reader/alerter of choice is childsplay. Not sure how long its
been
there as I only noticed today.

I personally use my script for Homeseer (populates Homeseer devices with
the
News info) but there are RSS apps for both xAP and xPL I believe.

I only wish other news organisations would follow suit. The CNNs etc of
this
world etc.
