I'm using a Netgear 824g router/ADSL modem/firewall with Nildram DSL500 Pro
(20:1 ratio), and no problems at all. I went for the Netgear mainly
because
it was an idiot-proof all-in-one solution, and just about everyone I work
with also uses the same, so support issues would be dealt with easily.
I've
had reason to call Nildram a couple of times, and other than having to wait
maybe up to 10 minutes in a Q, the assistance has always solved the issue.

I'm using Freedom2Surf on my works recommendation.
26 per month 512K 50:1 contention, static IP, webspace etc.
has been working fine for 3-4 weeks here now.
