My bathroom is a single storey flat roofed extension at the rear of the
house.
When I fitted my halogen lights I had to fit and wire the transformer
before
the plasterboard went up. I also had to consider how I would replace it in
the
event of transformer failure...
...solution...
I fitted ceiling speakers that drop out after twisting them through 30*.
The
transformer is just inside one of the speaker cutouts so is extremely easy
to
get access to. It could be changed in about 15 minutes flat needing only a
screwdriver and pair of cutters for the terminations :-)
