RE: [OT] BSOD :(

Hi Mark

I suffered a similar problem to that you're experiencing on the Jukebox PC
with my XP laptop and it ended up being a trashed MBR. It coincided with a
Windows Update and would not restart after applying the update. In my case
the machine got as far as the XP splash screen before BSOD'ing and
automatically rebooting. My SysAdmin got it sorted using Ghost and all was
fine.

My laptop AND my Jukebox PCs are both Blue Screening. I applied Windows
Updates on them both this morning - so I am assuming it must be that.

The Jukebox PC (an old PentiumPro 200) restarts almost as soon as it's
logged in (Win2K Pro). Even in Safe mode it reboots :( How do I get in to
uninstall the updates? The Laptop (XP Pro) is more random.

Anyone heard anything about probs with latest Windows Updates?
