Ooops my post may be misleading....
Dead memory was from Insight.com
Replacement memory which works lovely was from Crucial.

I don't think you will find a single bad experience from Crucial, they used
to be quite a bit dearer, but when the difference between crucial and Major
on third or whatever 'crap' the box shifters are selling at the time is so
small, it really is a no-brainer.
