RE: Intruder detection
I think you should be OK with a PIR if it's close enough - trouble is, if
you're recording to VHS, the critter might have gone by the time the VCR
starts up. A PC capture may be better where the image is buffered so you
can get a few seconds prior to the PIR triggering.
